Engcomp's Lindsay Ruel was a guest speaker at the I-EEE Illumination conferences

Engcomp's Lindsay Ruel is back in the spotlight again! This time, with a message about environmental sustainability delivered at a recent University of Saskatchewan student run conference.

Ruel (formerly Lindsay Bedard), an electrical engineer, was guest speaker at the I-EEE Illumination conference, (pronounced "Eye-triple-E" and stands for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.)

The conference aims to educate engineering students about industry and career choices, focusing on interpersonal and soft skills; vital tools needed by new grads to succeed in the engineering world.

Ruel gave an 'enlightening' talk about what it means to make responsible and ethical decisions while maintaining an awareness of the cultural and environmental impact that this profession has on societies and quality of life.

Here's a bit of what Lindsay brought to the conference. We think she did a great job!
